F/O George Alfred Murray Thomas was a pilot with 174 Squadron during the Second World War. Known as "Murray" & "Tommy" / 175 Sq. summary of events 7/7/1943 states he leaves Sq. on overseas draft / Another source says he later served in North Africa and was badly shot up at Anzio & sent back to Canada? / After war was city clerk at Sarnia, Ontario / Died 1998.
